William Robert "Billy Bob" Patterson

William Robert “Billy Bob” Patterson, 57, of Stafford, Kansas passed away December 3, 2019 at his home. He was born January 3, 1962 in Hoisington, Kansas, the son of Robert James “Bob Popeye” Sr. and Billie JoAnne Lane Patterson. Billy Bob was an oil field worker, mechanic, and worked at Pattersons Auto Savage. He enjoyed hand fishing, hunting, frogging, and junking. Billy Bob is survived by his two sons, Zacharia Starnes and Cody Hull both of Hutchinson, KS; three daughters, Jessica Whittier and husband Robert of Louisiana, MO, Leanna Dawn Patterson of Lyons, and Heather Laymon and husband Ian of Lyons; brother, Robert Patterson Jr. of Stafford, KS; sister, Robin K. Jesseph of Chase, KS; eight grandchildren; and best friend Kelly Stallings. He is preceded in death by his parents; three infant brothers; two nephews, R.J. Patterson III, and Bobby Joe Patterson; and niece, Jenny Lynn Jesseph. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons with Pastor Michael Gray officiating. Memorials may be given to William Robert “Billy Bob” Patterson Memorial Fund in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
