Bill was an amazing guy who touched the lives of many and made them better, including my own. Thank you Bill for a great high school music career! Your influence enabled me to reflect on the songs that we sang in Concert Choir and Buhler Singers that are still with me today and lifted my spirits at some of the most difficult times in my life. With sincere regards, I mourn your loss but, celebrate your life and the influence you made on so many of those who had the privilege of knowing you. You epitomize what those of us who were called to serve in uniform fight to protect. It is people like you that lived the American dream that must endure and be protected. Your life was the glue that fostered many enduring relationships that continue today, shared through your passion for music and genuine caring for one another. Thank you for your service! Rest in peace my friend.

Dear Anne and kids,
So sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy at the loss of Bill. Enjoyed singing in the choir with him at St. Paul. We could always rely on him for sense of humor and his full rich voice. Now he is praising God forever. Amen

It takes me back to 1966 when Bill and I were trumpet players in the K-State Marching band, the last all-male band in the then Big-8. Bill and I were among four Herald trumpeters who stood in front of the band with banners hanging from our instruments.
I recall taking Bill home on occasion to the Ellsworth cutoff on I-70 as I headed westward to Dorrance.
What a funny and nice guy.
My sympathies and prayers.

Our condolences to all of Bill's family - I am sure that you have heard from many of his students. We knew Bill through our time at Holy Cross in Hutchinson as a parish member and as choir director. He has surely shared his musical gifts in many places in the Central KS area - We were also members of St Pauls Lyons before our Hutchinson time and we are glad that Bill shared his music there also.
Blessings to all of the family
