Twila J. Ruark, 93, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away January 7, 2021 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita. She was born June 4, 1927 in Eureka, Kansas, the daughter of Roy and Lela Rogers Pugh. Twila graduated from Chase High School, Chase. She has resided in Wichita since 1950, formerly of Chase, Kansas. Twila was a homemaker and worked as a receptionist at Mid America Credit Union. She was a member of the Pathway Christian Church, Wichita, and a member of an exercise group at the YMCA. On July 9, 1944, Twila was united in marriage with Bill F. Ruark in Chase. He survives of the home. She is also survived by her three sons, Roger Ruark and wife Deanne of Wichita, KS, Cary Ruark and wife Lisa McQuade of Wichita, KS, and Mark Ruark and wife Julia Van De Ven of Eagle, CO; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Twila is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Arthur and Bill Pugh. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Chase Springdale Cemetery, Chase with Rev. Todd Hutchins and Rev. Tom Hawks officiating. Memorials may be given to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or Pathway Christian Church, Wichita in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
