Tricia Lee (Alderman) Bridgess

Tricia Lee Bridgess, 66, of Lyons, Kansas, passed away June 8, 2021, at Hospital District #1 of Rice County, Lyons. She was born November 19, 1954, in Lyons, the daughter of Charles Winfield and Loretta Young Alderman. Tricia was a near lifelong Lyons resident. She graduated from Lyons High School with the class of 1972 and was a State Tennis Champion. Tricia worked as an agriculture pest control applicator. On June 4, 1987, Tricia was married to Thomas Bridgess at the Rice County Courthouse, Lyons. They later divorced. Tricia is survived by her son, Clay Bridgess of Lyons; daughter, Cally Yeager and husband Byron of Cottonwood Falls, KS; and a sister, Janis Huck of Scott City, KS. She is preceded in death by her parents. Private family graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at the Lyons Municipal Cemetery, Lyons. A Celebration of Life will be held at her residence at the Cottonwood Lake in Sterling from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 16, 2021 everyone is invited. Memorials may be given to Meals on Wheels Rice County in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
