Tommy Gene Adams Sr.

Tommy Gene Adams Sr. was born on December 25th, 1954, in Hays, Kansas to Edwin and Edith Adams. Tom, age 67, of Hobbs, departed this world on February 22nd, 2022. Tom was loved by his many wonderful friends, former coworkers, and his family. He was an animal lover, but he had a special place in his heart for cats. He was also an avid golfer and loved to play at Rockwind golf course. Tom also enjoyed grabbing a bite to eat with his sister and mom at Casey’s or the lunch buffet at Pizza Inn. Tom loved music and was an Elvis fan his entire life and was even able to visit Graceland. However, nothing made Tom happier than spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Tom is survived by his sisters, Debbie Johnson and Berdena Sloan, his son, Tommy Adams Jr., his daughters, Angela Sanchez and Julia Scott, his grandsons, Xander Sanchez and Conner Scott, and his granddaughter, Charlie Scott. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin, his mother, Edith, and his wife, Mary. A visitation will be from 10:00 until 12:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons with family present. Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Raymond Hilltop Cemetery, Raymond.
