Sydney Lynn Hoffman

Sydney Lynn Hoffman, 4 ½ months old, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away May 16, 2023, at Hospital District #1 of Rice County, Lyons. She was born December 28, 2022, in Lyons, the daughter of Cory and Rebecca Sledd Hoffman. Sydney is survived by her parents; two brothers, Kolby and Tanner Hoffman of the home; paternal grandparents, Denny and Terry Hoffman of Hutchinson, KS; maternal grandparents, James and Denice Sledd of Chase, KS; and two uncles, Dustin Hoffman of Wichita, KS, and James Sledd of Hays, KS; aunt, Christina Sledd of Wichita, KS; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, Warren and Patricia Hoffman and Richard and Helen Wittlief; and maternal great-grandparents, Thelma and James Sledd and Shirley and Edward Schmidt. Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Community Presbyterian Church, Chase, with Pastor Scott Randle officiating. Burial will follow at the Sterling Community Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 P.M., Friday, May 19, 2023, at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons, with family present from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Memorials may be given to the Ronald McDonald House in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
