Susan became a mother very early in her life after marrying her first love Gary Siemer of Bushton, Kansas in 1967. The marriage lasted forty-five years until Gary passed away in 2012.
The life journey for the two brought Susan to live in and visit many locations both in the United States namely Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and overseas where she met new and long-lasting friends who always remembered her fondly and with love and stayed in contact.
Susan had a wonderful sense of humor that became part of her magnetism and charm with others. Her generosity extended to friends, family, and even strangers in need.
Susan had a genuine love and empathy for all living things and throughout the course of her life she rescued, adopted, and cared for animals as well as people that needed her help.
After Gary died, Susan was blessed with her second love and husband Loren Orth, of Bushton, who showed her love, loyalty, and total dedication. He patiently helped Susan manage her illness for years and spent countless hours with her up to the moment of her passing.
