Sondra Sue Dietrich, 77, of Lyons, Kansas, passed away May 16, 2022, at Hospice House in Hutchinson, Kansas, She was born April 22, 1945, in Lyons, the daughter of T.J. and Wilma Groth Ross. Sondra was a longtime Lyons resident. She graduated from Lyons High School with the class of 1964. Sondra was a para educator for Park Elementary School, Lyons and housekeeper at Hospital District #1 of Rice County, Lyons for many years. She is survived by her son, Bill Dietrich of Oxford, KS; two daughters, Kathy Robinson of Hutchinson, KS, and Kelly Cain of Sterling, KS; sister, Barbara Evans of Norman, OK, ten grandchildren, Julian Dietrich, Brison Dietrich, Dalton Dietrich, Kodie Swisher and wife Tara, Zacharie Swisher, Dillon Swisher, Sage Pina, Tasha Pina, Isiah Robinson, and Issac Robinson; and three great-grandchildren, Easton Dietrich, Cooper Swisher, and Camryn Swisher. Sondra is preceded in death by her parents. A private family burial will take place at the Sterling Community Cemetery, Sterling, Kansas. Memorials may be given to Hospice House of Hutchinson in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
