Shirley Ann (Davis) Crable

Shirley Ann Crable, 83, of Lyons, Kansas, passed away January 12, 2024, at her home. She was born February 22, 1940, in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Thomas and Ethel (Epp) Davis. Shirley has resided in Lyons since 2004, formerly of Evergreen, Colorado. She graduated from Des Moines Technical with a degree in bookkeeping. Shirley was a bookkeeper for various businesses and was a retired floor manager for a casino. She is survived by her two children, James Norton and wife Vicki of Olathe, CO, and Cindy White and husband Walter of Chico, TX; three brothers, Larry Davis of Emporia, KS, Roger Davis of Trinidad, CO, and Loren Davis of Cotopaxi, CO; seven grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; and son, Paul Norton. Memorials may be given to MD Anderson Cancer Center in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
