Obituary
Sheldon Lee Schulz, 65, of Bushton, Kansas, passed away July 9, 2023, at his home. He was born December 6, 1957, in Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Orland Lee and Gloria Chesnut Schulz. Sheldon was a lifetime Bushton resident. He graduated high school in Bushton. Sheldon was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, loved music, especially playing his guitar, and spending time with his dogs. Sheldon is survived by his sister, Cheri Chester and husband Ron of Glade, KS; two nieces, Jodie (Chester)Lowe and husband Ben of Charlotte, NC, and their children Alex and Anderson; and Jana Chester of Ft. Worth, TX; and all of his friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and infant brother, Johnny Louis Schulz. An informal graveside gathering of family and friends will be at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the Bushton-Farmer Township Cemetery, Bushton, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Bushton EMS in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
