Sharon Louise Hudson

Sharon Louise Hudson, 71, of Lyons, passed away March 19, 2020 at McPherson Hospital, McPherson, Kansas. She was born June 1, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of James and Bettie Noggle Sharp. Sharon has resided in Lyons since 1988, formerly of Beloit, Kansas. She was a Certified Med Aide, worked in shipping and receiving at Ferguson Production in McPherson, KS, and delivered the Hutchinson News for 12 years. Sharon was a member of First Christian Church, Lyons. She enjoyed sewing and cooking and loved her dogs. On March 13, 1965, Sharon was united in marriage with Howard Leon Hickling in Kansas City, MO. He preceded her in death. In 1967, Sharon was united in marriage with David St. John in Miami, OK. They later divorced. On March 10, 1984, Sharon was united in marriage with Paul Hudson in Lyons, KS. They later divorced. Sharon is survived by four of her five children, Becky Hickling of Lyons, Carolyn St. John of OK, Christopher St. John of Lyons, and Stephen St. John of OK; brother, Terry Sharp and wife Sally of MO; sister, Cindy Taylor of Las Vegas, NV; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Angela Hickling. Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at Lyons Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Kendal Conner officiating. Private family visitation will be from 11:00 until 5:00 P.M., Monday, March 30, 2020 at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons. Memorials may be given to Sharon Hudson Memorial Fund in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
