Sandra Lee “Sandy” Adams, 80, of Lyons, Kansas, passed away April 6, 2023, at Hospital District #1 of Rice County, Lyons. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan, the daughter of LaVerne and Elaine Scott. Sandy has resided in Lyons since 2016, formerly of Burbank, California. She graduated from Venice Senior High School, Venice, California, with the class of 1958. Sandy was a sales representative, and owner and operator of Adams Passports and Visa’s in Burbank, California and Lyons. She was a member of the Praise Chapel Revival and Assembly of God Church, both in Lyons. Sandy enjoyed reading, shopping, and most of all spending time with her family. She was a avid Green Bay Packers fan. Sandy is survived by her five children, Samuel Adams of CA, Lisa Adams of Lyons, KS, Paul Adams of CA, Scott Pulley and wife Catricia of Lyons, KS, and Stephanie Noble and husband Ron of CA; daughter-in-law, Kim Adams of CA; thirteen grandchildren, Christopher, Scott and wife Tiffany, Sandra and husband Maynor, Melissa, Syriah, Franceen, Isaac, Joshua, Kayla, Victoria, and Sieanna; eleven great-grandchildren, Grace, Mia, Emma, Mathew, Audrinna, Naveah, Everly, Lily, Valentino, Leo, and Cali; and her beloved dog, Magnolia. Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, grandmother, Sophie; brother, David; and grandson, Andrew Gallegos. Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the Assembly of God Church, Lyons, with Pastor Scott Pulley, Pastor Armando Carrillo, and Pastor Larry Schumacher officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 P.M., Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons, with family present from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Memorials may be given to the Praise Chapel Revival in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
