Roy will be sorely missed. He was a fine Christian man, and lived his faith. Stood up for his country, worked and raised his children and remained true to his wife and God. His race is run and now he is home to with God.

Dear extended family of Grandpa Spears. I am the daughter and sister of Virginia Martinez and Alexis Gomez. I am so sorry for your precious loss. Grandpa Spears was one of the kindest sweetest men I had the blessing of knowing. He and Grandma Mildred always treated us so nice and loved us just like all the other grandkids. My brothers and I always looked forward to going on mini vacations to Lyons to see them. I remember when we went to Gpa and Gma Jandas farm and him and gpa took me driving up and down the pasture in gpa Jandas red truck. Of course mom had a fit.... lol! But gpa Spears insisted I learn. I must have been like 13 around there. I will miss him terribly but will never forget his hugs, laugh and his sneaky lil ways of making things a little bit more fun for us kids. God bless each of his family. I will hold his precious memory in my heart and will be praying Gods peace for each of you in the coming days. Sending special hugs and prayers to my sister Lexi at this time.
