Ronald Ray Myers Obituary

Ronald Ray “Ron” Myers, 59, of Windom, Kansas, passed away December 29, 2025, at his home. He was born April 17, 1966, in Little River, Kansas, the son of Franklin Clyde and Rita Lee (Brown) Myers. Ron was a lifelong Windom resident. He graduated from Little River High School, with the class of 1984. Ron was a farmer and stockman. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Little River. Ron served on the Odessa Township Board. He enjoyed hunting, raising his cattle, and sharing funny videos. Ron loved visiting and never knew a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family, especially visiting his grandson in Florida. Ron is survived by his five children, Jason Myers and wife Tonya of Benton, AR, Courtney Myers and wife Monique of St. Johns, FL, Danielle Myers and partner Devon of North Newton, KS, Collin Johnson and wife Karlie of Salina, KS, and Caitlin Johnson of Newton, KS; brother, Keith Myers and wife Elaine of Hutchinson, KS; sister, Sandra Myers Brown of Spain; five grandchildren, Anthony, Alex, Casey, Merick, and Isaac; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. Graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 5, 2026, at Bean Memorial Cemetery, Little River, with Pastor Chantel Makarawa officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M., Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons, with family present. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Little River High School (for the Myers Family Scholarship) in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
