Robert John “Bob” Hull, 69, of Salina, Kansas, passed away February 18, 2020 at his home. He was born December 8, 1950 in Little River, Kansas, the son of Dan Jr. and Lorraine Veach Hull. Bob has resided in Salina since 1969, formerly of Lyons, Kansas. He graduated from Lyons High School with the class of 1968. Bob worked for Briscoe Custom Cutting, Little River, managed the Fina Truck Stop for several years, worked at Ward Manufacturing, and retired from Raytheon, all of Salina. He was a Babe Ruth Baseball coach for many years. Bob enjoyed going to the lake and loved watching his grandchildren play sports. He liked watching Kansas University Men’s Basketball, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. On November 12, 1970, Bob was united in marriage with Sandy Sevier in Chase, Kansas. She survives of the home. Bob is also survived by his son, Jason Hull and wife Deidra of Lincoln, KS; daughter, Michelle Hull of Albuquerque, NM; and eight grandchildren, Abby, Emalie, Kylie, Benjamin, and Sadie all of Lincoln, KS, and Kaden, Mason, and Matthew all of Salina. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Billy D. Hull. Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, February 24, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church, Little River, with Pastor Jeff Goetzinger officiating. Burial will be at Geneseo Cemetery, Geneseo, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church with family present. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Salina in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
