Ray Clifford Riggs

Ray Clifford Riggs, 74, of Bullhead City, Arizona, passed away July 18, 2018. He was born June 10, 1944, in Salem, Oregon, the son of Ralph and Jackie Keeley Riggs. He graduated from Alden High School with the class of 1962. Ray has resided in Bullhead City, AZ. since November 2017, formerly of Sterling and Lyons, Kansas. He was owner of R&R Roofing Company, Sterling and Great Bend and Ray’s Recreation of Sterling from 1973 until 2002. He was a member of the Sterling Masonic Lodge #171 AF&AM of Kansas, Moose Club of Hutchinson and Lyons Town and Country Club. On July 17, 1964, Ray was united in marriage with Mary Hanna in Lyons, Kansas. She preceded him in death on November 30, 2001. On February 1 2006, Ray was united in marriage with Janie Mueller in Bullhead City, Arizona. She survives of the home. He is also survived by his three sons, Robert Riggs of Lyons; Bryan and Gigi Riggs of Sterling, KS, and Danny and Lori Riggs of Great Bend, KS; step-son, Pete Anderson of Manhattan, KS; step-daughter, Stephaney and Rick Ferrell of Riverside, RI; sister, Phyllis Corporon of Neosho, MO; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Lyons Municipal Cemetery with Father Patrick Kotrba officiating. Following the graveside service the family would like to invite everyone to join them for lunch at Sterling College Cafeteria. Memorials can be made to Hospice House of Hutchinson in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
