Randall John Wright Obituary

Randall John “Randy” Wright, 74, of Little River, Kansas, passed away January 3, 2026, at Sandstone Heights Nursing Home, Little River. He was born June 21, 1951, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Harold Leroy and Ada Gertrude (Fitzmorris) Wright. Randy has resided in Little River for the past ten years, formerly of Lake Lotawana, Missouri. He was a lifelong learner, graduating from Southeast High School, Wichita, with the class of 1969 and later graduating from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy in 1975. Randy was an innovative and accomplished pharmacist. He owned and operated pharmacies in Hanover and Seneca, Kansas for many years; was a national and international business keynote speaker for over a decade; and worked as a radio host in Kansas City at KCMO radio station. Randy was too big to summarize in a few sentences. He loved the lake, boating and sailing, enjoyed hiking, skydiving, and astronomy. He was an art collector, pilot, and raised tropical fish. Randy was an inventor and helped co-invent the toilet seat lifter. Outside of Randy’s career, he loved his family and they were extremely important to him. Randy is survived by his brother, James Wright of Spokane, WA; sister-in-law, Carolyn Wright of Little River; numerous nieces, nephews; and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Douglas, Bruce, and Stephen Wright; and two nephews, Michael and Kevin Wright. Friday, January 9, 2026, Rosary at 10:00 A.M., A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Little River, with Father Edmond Kline officiating. Burial will follow at Bean Cemetery, at Little River. Memorials may be given to Michael J. Fox Foundation in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
