Oakly Jonathan Basnett

Oakly Jonathan Basnett, was born into heaven on July 30, 2025, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He is the son of Jonathan Basnett and Sage Belanger both of Lyons, Kansas. Oakly is survived by his parents; two siblings, Daniel and Echo Basnett; maternal grandmother, Chasity Weber; maternal great-grandparents, Steve and Francine Fundenberger, and Robert Pearce; maternal great-great-grandparents, Robert Rump, Joanne Pearce, and Delores Fundenberger; aunt, Cheyenne Belanger and her son Raegan Cain; uncle, Kebren Belanger; great-aunt and uncle, Matt and Stephanie Detmer and their daughter Mazee; and numerous other family and friends. Oakly is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Shawn Belanger; maternal great-grandparents, Paulette Rump, and Lloyd Fundenberger. A private family graveside service will be held at the Lyons Municipal Cemetery.
