Norma L. (Jageler) Kelly

Norma L. Kelly, 92, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Lyons, Kansas, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 4, 2022, in Mesa, Arizona. She was born March 29, 1930, in Fort Collins, Colorado, the daughter of Alice and George Jageler. Norma worked primarily as a homemaker. She was a long-time member of the local Order of the Eastern Star. On June 26, 1948, Norma was united in marriage with the late Kenneth O. Kelly in Carlsbad, New Mexico and relocated shortly after to Lyons, with their young family. He preceded her in death on September 24, 2013. She is also preceded in death by her parents; and son, Ken Roe Kelly. Norma is survived by her three daughters, Liz Miller of AZ, Annie Brayton of KS, and Kathy Reinert and husband Leland of CO; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, December 2, 2022, at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons. Burial will follow at the Lyons Municipal Cemetery, Lyons. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. There was a private family viewing on November 18, 2022, at Bunkers Family Funeral Home, in Mesa, Arizona. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project, or Toys for Tots in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
