My folks, Raymond and Elma Tobias, enjoyed every minute with Paul and Millie. Those New Years Day get togethers at John and Mildred Burges' were lots of fun and no shortage of food....cinnamon rolls included. Millie was one of a kind...always smiling and lots of hearty laughter! Paula and Bruce, you have our deepest sympathy...what a wonderful lady and friend..

Paula and Bruce,
My sincere prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Your mother was an inspiration to all her knew her. I loved being in her class and how she taught us to play girls basketball and wore those HIGH heels for every game, which by the way you don't see now. She had an infectious laugh that was heard across the classroom and had un-conditional love for everyone she came in contact with.
Now, the legacy lives on with you all. You will have the memories of a lifetime of your precious Mother that you will hold in your heart forever. You all are in my daily prayers.

Aunt Millie, That is how we knew her. Living out on the farm growing up she was the best neighbor and friend you could have. I have so very many fond memories growing up with the family. Mildred was the most thoughtful and caring lady I have known. She inspired me and was a true role model. Rest in peace Aunt Millie.

Mildred , what a wonderful teacher, the most memorable of my childhood growing up in Lyons. I'll have a 5 month old brown lab we named Millie and of course Mildred when I would like her attention. And has made me think of my favorite teacher as child manny manny times. See you again Mildred!!!

Mrs Colle was the best 6th Grade teacher at Park School.. She was very kind but wasn't afraid to use the board of education as needed. I always enjoyed the visits to their farm. May God comfort your family

Mrs. Colle was also one of my favorite teachers. She was a very caring person and wouldn't hesitate to help anyone in anyway she could. Every time I seen her she remembered who I was and was always interested about what was going on in my life. She was so spunky and full of life. She will forever be loved and remembered and missed!!! RIP Till we meet again!!!!

Mrs. Colle was one of my favorite teachers I learned a lot from her I was in her 6 Th grade class at park school.
I remember a time when she came to school with her slacks on backwards and when it was time for recess my friend and I went up to her and told her and we got a big laugh from that day forward she always would make it a point to ask if she has her slacks on the right way.
You will be greatly missed by every single student that you have ever taught love and will miss you ❤️

Millie taught our daughter in middle school and that is how we got to know her. She was the most wonderful person and we so enjoyed seeing her and visiting with her. Our dughter remembers her well and loved her as a teacher. I ran into her a few times substituting and she always had a quick smile and time to visit. She will surely be missed
