Michael Cody “Mike” “Gander” Alexander, 68, of Geneseo, Kansas, passed away August 10, 2020 at Hospital District #1 of Rice County, Lyons. He was born April 1, 1952 in Little River, Kansas, the son Earl and Margaret Gray Alexander. Mike was a near lifelong Geneseo resident. He graduated from Geneseo High School with the class of 1970, and attended Barton County Community College. Mike worked at North American Salt for many years. He is survived by his two sisters, Susan Stockstill of Geneseo, and Barbara Selby and husband Larry of Wichita; and many nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Darin Selby. Memorials may be given to Davita Dialysis Center, Hutchinson in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
