Martha Elaine (Colvard) Loughridge Thiel

Martha Elaine Loughridge Thiel, 80 died August 25, 2016 at her residence in Lyons. Born to Charles & Vlema Cole Colvard, June 21, 1936 at Arlington, Kansas.  She was a resident of Lyons for 61 years formerly of Arlington.  She worked as a produce manager in a grocery store for 20 years and was custodian at the Rice County District #1 Hospital for 6 years.  She was a member of Rebekah Lodge, Lyons.

On September 27, 1953 she married Everett A. Loughridge in Hutchinson, he died November 28, 2008.  She married Earl Thiel July 17, 2010 in Arlington, he died February 15, 2013.

She is survived by, Son Jeffrey & Jackie Loughridge, Lyons; Daughter Marcella & Martin Fanning, Bowling Green, Ky.; Step-Son, Randy Thiel, Plainville, Ks.; Step-Daughter, Peggy Burgess, Arlington; 2 Brothers, Edwend Colvard, Vernen Colvard, both of Hutchinson; 3 Sisters, Iona Applegate, Louise Faye, both of Arlington, Mary Shoemaker, Lyons; 5 Grandchildren,

8 Great-Grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her Parents; Step-Mother, Viola Colvard; Brother, Leonal Colvard; Sister, Naomi Wedel; Son-in-law, Dale Breiner:

Funeral Service is 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 29, 2016 at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons, Ks. with Dr. Donald Strohmeyer officiating.  Visitation 9:00 A.M. until service time Monday August 29, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bean Memorial Cemetery, Little River.
