Loren Meagher

Loren Meagher, 83, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away February 20, 2026, at Sandstone Heights Nursing Home, Little River. He was born July 12, 1942, in Lebanon, Missouri, the son of William Willard and Mary Evelyn (Williams) Meagher. Loren was a near lifelong Wichita, resident. He graduated from Wichita South High School. Loren owned and operated Wade’s Jewelry in Wichita, for nearly forty years. He enjoyed taking care of his farm, building things, saving money, and loved visiting with others. Loren is survived by his son, Matthew Meagher and wife Alex of Lyons, KS; brother, Kent Meagher and wife Joanne of Flagstaff, AZ; two sisters, Dawn Meagher of Yucaipa, CA and Michelle Meagher of Calimesa, CA; and two grandchildren, Astrid and Maeve Meagher. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be given to Sandstone Heights Nursing Home (for the activity fund) in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
