Katy Sparkman

I met Katy when I first moved to Hawaii, and was placed at Nimitz through EBS Healthcare. Katy was the kindest person I met and always made me feel welcome from day 1. We shared a speech room for a short time, and I remember her love for essential oils. She was great with the students, and I’ll never forget a time I was struggling with a student and she helped me when he was being “sassy”. I remember making her a care basket during the start of everything, and I hope she was able to use the items and feel some comfort from it. I am very sad to hear that she passed away. I’m wishing Katy eternal peace and happiness. She deserves it. My deepest condolences to her family.

I worked with Katy in Hawaii at the elementary school where she was a speech pathologist. She was such a bright light and the students loved her. I am so sad to hear about her passing. My prayers are with your family.
