Judy A. (Maxwell) Crowl

Judy A. Crowl, 78, of Lyons, Kansas, passed away July 12, 2023, at Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community, Buhler, Kansas. She was born October 4, 1944, in Sterling, Kansas, the daughter of John and Ada Maxwell. Judy is survived by her four children, Nancy Cannon (Mike) of Geneseo, KS, LeRoy Capps (Stephanie) of Nickerson, KS, John Capps (Sherri) of Lyons, KS, and Lorne Crowl of Lyons, KS; six siblings, Gary Maxwell (Kathleen) of Whittier, CA, Donald Maxwell (Butch) of Lindsborg, KS, David Maxwell (Sue) of Buhler, KS, Gail Holmes (Dell) of Hutchinson, KS, Terry Maxwell (Shelley) of Sandy, UT, and Dennis Maxwell of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kent Maxwell; sister, Brenda Krehbiel; and grandson, Gregory Gomez. A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 P.M., Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the First Baptist Church, Lyons, with Pastor Joel Grizzle officiating. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association, Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community, or the First Baptist Church in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
