Joyce L. (Busch) (Ankerholz) Cheuvront

Joyce L. (Busch) Cheuvront, 87, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away December 9, 2022, at Evergreen Community Center in Olathe, Kansas. She was born February 27, 1935, in Chase, Kansas, the daughter of Henry and Lena (Blank) Ankerholz. Joyce has resided in Lenexa since 1981, previously living in Lyons, Kansas, since 1958. She worked for various plumbing supply businesses in the Kansas City area carrying on her career from the family business, Busch Plumbing and Heating in Lyons. On October 3, 1953, Joyce married James L. Busch in Chase, Kansas. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1973. On October 30, 1976, Joyce married John R. Cheuvront in Lyons, Kansas. He preceded her in death on December 4, 1982. She is also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Richard Ankerholz and Edward “Ed” Ankerholz; and sister, Irene Kennedy. Joyce is survived by her three children, James Busch and wife Debra of Houston, TX, Joel Busch and wife Donna of Hutchinson, KS, and Julie Rowe of Olathe, KS; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the Lyons Municipal Cemetery, Lyons. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
