John Francis Rondeau

John Francis Rondeau, 64, of Chase, Kansas, passed away January 6, 2021 at the Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita, Kansas. He was born June 16, 1956 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Richard Francis and Margery A. Engelbert Rondeau. John graduated from Madison High School in San Diego, California. He has resided in Chase for the past six years, formerly of San Diego, California. John worked as a maintenance man at Cal-Maine Foods, Chase for six years. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, shooting guns, and cooking. John is survived by his two brothers, Daniel Rondeau and wife Carol of Idyllwild, CA, and Steve Rondeau and wife Debera of Escondido, CA; three sisters, Teresa Lahar and husband Ray of Great Bend, KS, Jean Graham of Lyons, KS, and Amy Miller and husband Jeff of Temecula, CA; numerous nieces and nephews; and adopted family at Cal-Maine Foods. John is preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Barbara Rondeau and Catharine Rondeau. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Raymond Gym, Raymond, Kansas on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 3:30 until 6:00 P.M. A meal will be served. The family is requesting masks be worn. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, San Diego, California at a later date. Memorials may be given to a Charity of your choice in John’s memory in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
