Janet Ferne (Coppock) Peterson

Janet taught me how to be a younger sister.. She always said I was a pain. Bu as I grew up I realized all little sisters are pains. Janet had a very special way of letting others feel cared about.. I’m sure Heavenly Father greeted her with open arms. I love her and will miss her humor. Rest In Peace my sister you deserve it,

Janet was one in a million, my boys loved her and so did I. Breaks my heart that I won’t get anymore hugs from her or see her in general. Janet had the most genuine smile and kind heart I’ve ever seen. She truly didn’t know a stranger. She is the reason so many kids made it through Sterling High School. I will miss her and her smile. I feel blessed to have been able to say she was my friend.

So sorry to learn of Janet's passing. Working with and watching Janet work with students was a a joy. She truly had a gift of relating to and teaching the students of SHS. My thoughts and prayers reach out to Kezia and the entire family.
