George Allan Smith

So sorry to hear of this. I have missed seeing George at Barkley Park with Bossy. He was always there to help pick up after the dogs and help keep the area clean. I remember sitting on the bench there about two months ago when George started coughing. We talked about him getting that checked out and I never saw him again . We had lots of fun walking the dogs and talking about our lives. He certainly loved Bossy and I hope that Bossy is in a new home with a loving family. I knew George from working at SRHC for many years. He will be missed.

George was seven years older than me and we rode on the same school bus. On my first day of first grade, I was nervous because I didn’t know where the first grade room was in the Little River School because I had gone to kindergarten in Windom. When we arrived at school, George was kind enough to walk me to the first grade room. He was always very nice to me. My sympathies to his family.

Gonna miss ya up here In Salina, We didnt always see eye to eye but yet we was still able to Talk , RIP George
