George Allan Smith

George Allan Smith, 66, of Salina, Kansas, passed away May 14, 2021 at his home. He was born August 15, 1954 in Little River, Kansas, the son of Charles Raymond “Ray” and Clara Sidebottom Smith. George graduated from Little River High School. George has resided in Salina for the past 40 years; formerly of Little River. He was a custodian for Salina Regional Medical Center for many years. George was a member of the Church of the Latter-day Saints of Salina. He enjoyed doing handyman work. He is survived by his brother, Harold Smith of Hutchinson, sisters, Barbara Koch of Lyons, and Linda Alber of Claflin, KS; and his dog, Bossy. George is preceded in death by parents; brother, Richard Smith and sister, Carolyn Sue Smith. A graveside service will be at Friday, June 4, 2021 at Bean Memorial Cemetery, Little River with Rev. Robert Friesen officiating. Memorials may be given to the Salina Humane Society in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
