Fawn Lea Glass, 51, of Lyons, Kansas, passed away August 16, 2025, at Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita, Kansas. She was born December 1, 1973, in Missoula, Montana, the daughter of James and Diana (Laughlin) Downs. Fawn has resided in Lyons for the past six years, formerly of Wickenburg, Arizona. She was a special education teacher for ten plus years at South Mountain High School, in South Phoenix, Arizona. For the past six years, Fawn worked at Jacam as a supervisor for the oil and solids department. Fawn was an enrolled member of the Salish Kootenai Indian Tribe. She enjoyed listening to music and was a wonderful artist. Fawn collected action figures, and loved all animals. She was a huge supporter of her family and loved spending time with them, and thought the world of her husband, Brandon. On January 3, 2020, Fawn was united in marriage with Brandon Glass, in Lyons. Fawn is survived by her husband, Brandon Glass of Lyons, KS; mother, Diana Downs of Wickenburg, AZ; three children, Amanda Brown of Lyons, KS, John Brown of Lyons, KS, and Ashlee Moreno (Daniel) of Whitman, AZ; brother, Joel McGlynn of Missoula, MT; and four grandchildren, Olivia Valdez, Oliver Hoyland, River Moreno, and Deklan Moreno. Fawn is preceded in death by her father, James Downs. Funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M., Friday, August 22, 2025, at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons, with Pastor Joel Grizzle officiating.
