Obituary
Danny Louis Ramey, 75, of Lyons, Kansas, passed away March 31, 2023, at his home. He was born December 16, 1947 in Hutchinson, Kansas, the son of Louis Dale and Bessie Elnora Davidson Ramey. Danny has resided in Lyons since 2016, formerly of Kinsley, Kansas. He attended Kinsley High School. Danny was a machinist. He enjoyed woodworking and fixing up homes. Danny is survived by his son, Danny L.D. Ramey and wife Laura of Emporia, KS; daughter, Michele Seeman and husband Steve of Larned, KS; brother, David Santner and wife Beth of Las Cruces, NM; sister, Debra Blevins and husband James of Louis, KS; five grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Dennis Wayne Ramey; daughter, Lorie Lee Ramey; brother, Ronald Santner; and niece, Cheri Green. Cremation has taken place. No service will be held per Danny’s request. Memorials may be given to the Rice County Relay for Life in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
