Dale Dwayne Reschke

Dale Dwayne Reschke, 80, of Peculiar, Missouri, passed away on November 1, 2020 at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, KS. He was born on April 30, 1940 in Little River, Kansas, the son of Herman Henry and Mildred Claudine Briscoe Reschke. Dale graduated from Little River High School in 1959. He has resided in the Peculiar area since 1989, formerly of Fremont, Nebraska. Dale had a career in sales working for Snap-on Tools and Kar Products, retiring in 2005. On June 11, 1971, Dale married Kathleen Anne Cussen in Hutchinson, KS. He is survived by Kathleen of the home; his son, Christopher Reschke, his wife, Jill and their children Mia and Lucy of Leawood, KS; his daughter, Theresa Newbold, her husband Brian, and their children Faith and Lane of Woodbridge, VA; his daughter, Sherri Oldham, her husband Tim, and their children Mathew, Rachel and Mysteria of Springfield, IL; sister, Juanita Moss of Burlington, WI; and five great-grandchildren. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Claudine; his former wife, Carole Blew Reschke; his son, Alan Reschke; two brothers, Lawrence and Kenneth Reschke; four sisters, Hazel Taylor, Veda Mae Reser, Betty Butler, and Eula Hebert. Dale loved to be surrounded by family and friends and had a smile and laugh that lit up the room. He will be dearly missed by all who know and love him. Funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
