Proceeded in death by parents and daughter-in-law. Rosie Villarreal. Survived by wife Johnese Gillespie, Sons: Frankie Villarreal, Noe Gillespie, Curtis Jr. Gillespie, Pete Hutcherson (Stepson), Jonathan Gillespie. Daughter: Monica Gillespie Daughter in Laws: Kayla Gillespie, Stacy Gillespie. Brothers: Milton Gillespie, Michael Gillespie. Sisters: Vickie Gillespie and Linda (Gillespie) Vopat. Sister-in-law: Geneva Gillespie Brother-in-law: Vawn Vopat Nephew: Sheldon Vopat and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons, with Pastor Larry Schumacher officiating. Burial will follow at the Bushton-Farmer Township Cemetery, Bushton, Kansas. Memorials may be given to Friends of Animals Rice County in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
