Clair Anthony Cordell

Clair Anthony Cordell, 83, of Little River, Kansas, passed away October 21, 2020 at his home. He was born November 8, 1936 in Little River, the son of John and Anna Lingg Cordell. Clair was a lifetime Little River resident. He graduated from St. Joseph Military Academy, Hays, with the class of 1954. Clair was a maintenance foreman for Underground Storage. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Little River. He is survived by his son René Cordell of Wichita, KS; daughter, Lené Krause of Windom, KS; four grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. Clair is preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna; and five siblings. Funeral mass will be at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Little River, with Father Aaron Spexarth officiating. Burial will be at Bean Memorial Cemetery, Little River. A Parish Rosary will be said at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the church. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 P.M., Friday, October 23, 2020 at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons with family present from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Memorials may be given to Holy Trinity Catholic Church in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
