Rehabilitation Center in Rossville, KS with her daughter and granddaughter by her side.

(Heine) Bryant. Barbara graduated from Ellinwood High School in 1955 and attended St. John’s
College in Winfield.
She married Richard Worman on October 7, 1958 in Ellinwood. They were married 2 months
shy of 55 years before Richard passed away in August of 2013.
Barbara was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ellinwood, VFW Auxiliary and

children were growing up and then she worked part-time at Gannaway Hardware. Barbara was
very fond of children. She was a 4-H leader, Sunday School Teacher and youth bowling coach
for many years. If it involved children, she was a part of it.
Barbara and Richard enjoyed traveling with their local camping club after Richard retired and
were able to attend many gatherings of Richard’s USS Idaho BattleShip group at various
locations across the country.
After moving to Lecompton, she was able to spend time with her grandchildren and great
