So sorry to hear of the passing of such a great guy, Joyce & I will pray for him & your family. Mike , Eric, & all of the family, you were so lucky to have such a great guy for your Father , grandfather etc.. I know you will miss him ,but consider how fortunate you were to have had him in your life...He was a great man & we all will miss him....GOD BLESS.!

August was not only a Freund, but a friend. Remember working with him three summers during my high school and college years, at Hahner, Foreman, and Cale, in Great Bend. We built the Highland Manor addition, and Fuller Brush facility west of GB. August was always soft-spoken, hard working, and really strong. He loved to smile. He made a lasting impression on me. May God rest him and his family. in peace.
