Loved Anna Mae!!! What a great lady, like a 2nd Mom to me and many.

My heartfelt condolences to children of Ann. I grew up and often mowed her yard. I am reminded of the poem, "The Dash" by Linda Ellis. It talks about the dates on the headstone in the cemetery. On the stone is the birth date and the death date separated by a dash. The birth and death days are only two days. Two single days. That's not much in a life. That dash represents their life == who they touched, what they did, their legacy. Ann's legacy was making sure others were happy. She was willing to help the youth of Lyons because there was nothing for them to do. I have fond memories of her at Pizza Hut, the Teen Center, and inviting us over to light fireworks or watch movies. It was great times. Sadly, I never got to see her as the years drew on. I am blessed to have known her. Her dash touched so many people in the community and I am honored to be part of her dash.

I'm so sorry for your loss I worked with Ann years ago She is/was the sweetest lady I will miss her dearly
