Alisa Elizabeth Stover, 47, of Chase, Kansas, passed away September 18, 2024, at her home. She was born June 30, 1977, in Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of Willis and Mary (Venters) Scobee. Alisa has resided in Chase since 2018, formerly of Haven, Kansas. She graduated from Haven High School with the class of 1995 and attended Pratt Community College. Alisa has worked for the Rice County Register of Deeds Office for the past two and a half years and was a waitress. She enjoyed reading, going shopping and to casinos, swimming, vacationing with Dave, and most of all spending time with her family. Alisa loved and adored her grandbabies. On September 10, 2011, Alisa was united in marriage with Dave Stover. Alisa is survived by her husband, Dave Stover of Chase, KS; nine children, Autumn Gilmore (Sean) of Chase, KS, Willy Otto of Lyons, KS, Harley Otto of Lyons, KS, Kalli Otto of Chase, KS, Samatha Thomason of WV, Kylea Stover of Lyons, KS, David Stover of Stafford, KS, Leah Stover of Hutchinson, KS, and Levi Stover of Hutchinson, KS; two sisters, Amanda Reese (Buddy) of Haven, KS, and Alma Bolton (Jason) of Tahlequah, OK; three grandchildren, Bentley Elizabeth Gilmore, Darrell Gilmore, and Parker Gilmore; nieces and nephews, Ashton Bornholdt, Kara Chaffin, Regina Reichenberger, Layla Higgins, Chevy Debusk, Waylon Debusk, and Wade Debusk. Alisa is preceded in death by her parents; paternal grandparents, C.W. and Alma Scobee; maternal grandparents, Jean and Pete Hurt; and mother and father-in-law, Jessie and Patricia Stover. Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the Community Presbyterian Church, Chase. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 P.M., Friday, September 27, 2024, at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons, with family present from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M.
