Adalynn Rae “Addy” Leake, 5, of Sterling, Kansas, passed away May 9, 2022, at her home. She was born February 20, 2017, in Liberal, Kansas, the daughter of Catherine Leake. Addy loved to be held, sang to, talked to, and she liked to snuggle. She is survived by her mother, Catherine Leake of Sterling, Kansas; two brothers, Ricky and Riley Leake; four sisters, Myka, Sophia, Elliot, and Tatum Leake; maternal grandparents, Chris and Marci Detmer of Lyons, Kansas, and Dennis and Karen Leake of Little Rock, Arkansas. Addy was preceded in death by her uncle, Ben Leake; and cousin, Ellianna Mitchell. Graveside funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 16, 2022, at the Lyons Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Hadley Franz officiating. The family suggest memorials be given to Birzer Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
