Dearest Vera - I don't even know where to begin. I think you were my first best friend. The BEST neighbor a little girl could ask for. You loved me and my brothers like your own. I'll never forget coming over for pinwheel cookies, sharing something new that I learned, you were just as excited for me as I was, To have you count and count and count how many times I could jump rope. I remember you comforting me when I was scared & hiding behind your big tree in the front yard when the ambulance came to help my grandma. I could go on and on, but I will stop and just tell you I will miss you and to please give Pete a hug for me. What a wonderful reunion you will have after almost 20 years. LOVE YOU!
