Valorie Jo (Enfield) Rolfs

Valorie Jo Rolfs, 66, of Hutchinson, formerly of Scott City, Kansas, passed away September 9, 2019 at Mennonite Manor, South Hutchinson. She was born April 14, 1953 in St. Francis, the daughter of Albert and Milda Harris Enfield. Valorie graduated from St. Francis High School, St. Francis, Kansas with the class of 1971; and received her associate degree from Colby Community College. She worked as a dispatcher for Kit Carson County Sheriff’s Office for 26 years. Valorie was a member of United Methodist Church, Healy, Kansas. She enjoyed visiting with cousins and aunts, flower gardening, and doing quiet time. On April 9, 2005, Valorie was united in marriage with Reed Rolfs at Lakeside Chapel, Scott City, Kansas. He survives of the home. She is also survived by her step-son, William Rolfs of Grand Junction, CO; brother, Brent Enfield and wife Toni of Derby, KS; two aunts; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents. Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 13, 2019 at United Methodist Church, Geneseo with Pastor Mark Van Der Put officiating. Burial will be at Geneseo Cemetery, Geneseo. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons with family present from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Memorials may be given to Joyce Meyer Ministries in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
