Thelma Irene Ringwald

Thelma I. Ringwald, 85, of Raymond, passed away December 7, 2018 at Hospital District #1 of Rice County, Lyons, Kansas, where she had been a resident for nine years. She was born March 24, 1933 in Bushton, Kansas, the daughter of Wes R. and Cynthia E. Hathway Ringwald. Thelma has been a near lifelong Raymond resident, formerly of Bushton, Kansas. She was a homemaker. Thelma enjoyed sewing and had a love for history, photography and music. Thelma is survived by her two cousins, Evelyn Ringwald of Pratt, KS, and John Ringwald and wife Edna of Bucklin, KS. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Stanley E. Ringwald. Graveside service will be 2:30 P.M., Monday, December 10, 2018 at Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons. Memorial may be made to Hospice of Reno County and Rice County District Hospital- Swing Bed Unit in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
