Sherry Ann Leamon-Lewis

Sherry Ann Leamon-Lewis, 53, of Inman, Kansas, passed away July 28, 2019. She was born June 24, 1966 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of George and Marilyn “Calli” Jordan Leamon. Sherry has been a Reno County resident since 1974. She graduated from Haven High School with the class of 1983, and later received her LPN Certificate from McPherson Nursing School. Sherry was a LPN for the VA Hospital in Wichita, Kansas, and owned and operated Twisted B Ranch Arena and Boarding Facility. She loved horseback riding, fishing, arts, collecting numerous things, the outdoors, and especially her dog Brownie Girl. She is survived by her five children, Randy Lewis, Jamie Lewis, Melissa Lewis, Preston Lewis, and Justin Lewis and wife Jessica of Hutchinson; brother, Michael Leamon; sisters, Angel Leamon, Yvonne Dowd and husband Mike, Shelly “Patty” Leamon, and Nancy Schmitt and husband Tony; and numerous grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, grandmother, Marcheta Hollingsworth-Hemrichi, and her beloved dog, Brownie Girl. Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling with Pastor Larry Schumacher officiating. Memorials may be given to Storm Creek Horse Company in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling.
