Patricia Jane "Pat" (Buell) Fink

Patricia Jane “Pat” Fink, 85, of Lyons, passed away January 24, 2019 at Mennonite Friendship Communities, South Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born September 23, 1933 in Nickerson, Kansas, the daughter of Lloyd H. and Dorothy F. Lawson Buell. She graduated from Nickerson High School with the class of 1951, and later graduated from Kansas University. Pat was a near lifelong Lyons resident. She was a homemaker. Pat was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Lyons. She is survived by her two sons, J.L. Fink of Hutchinson, KS, and David Fink and wife Lisa of Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren, Jayme Thiessen and husband Brian of Buhler, KS, Mattie Huerta and husband Jose of Hutchinson, Christopher Hinshaw and wife Ashley of San Antonio, TX, and Phillip Hinshaw of Hutchinson, KS; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Debbie Childers. A Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M., Monday, January 28, 2019 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Lyons with Father Patrick Kotrba officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. at Wildmead Cemetery, Nickerson, Kansas. Memorials may be given to Friends of Animals Rice County in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
