Mark Halter Obituary

Mark Clair Halter, 68, of Lyons, passed away November 28, 2019 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born May 8, 1951, in Oakland, CA, the son of Frank and Doris “Doty” Jeep Halter. He has resided in Lyons since 2014, formerly of Ft. Worth, TX. Mark was a hotel manager and warehouse worker, retiring in 2014. He is survived by his daughters; Jerri L. Jerome of Lyons; and Janet M. Morgan of Gig Harbor, WA; and three grandchildren. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for cancer care or Friends of Animals Rice County in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
