Linda Lou (Zerbe) Bunton

Linda Lou Bunton, 78, of Lyons, passed away May 5, 2019 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born April 1, 1941 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Alvin and Madge Babb Zerbe. She graduated from Wichita East High School with the class of 1959. Linda has resided in Lyons since 2003, formerly of Bel Aire, Kansas. She was an accounts receivable clerk for Pioneer Balloon Company of Wichita for 13 years, retiring in 2003. Linda was a member of Faith Bible Church, Lyons; member of Central Christian Church and Fairview Christian Church both of Wichita; accompanist for Bound 4 Glory; and assistant cook for Knight Farm’s. On July 3, 1959, Linda was united in marriage with Kenneth “Ken” Bunton in Wichita, KS. He survives of the home. She is also survived by her daughter, Tamara Knight and husband Kenny of Lyons; son, Todd Bunton and companion Candida Corona of Overland Park, KS; brother, Richard Zerbe of Albuquerque, NM; four grandchildren, Lindsay Hufnagel, Ryan Boltz, Torrie Bunton, and Keaton Bunton; five great-grandchildren, Adri, Alle, Hadley, Greysyn, Emry, and one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M., Friday, May 10, 2019 at Faith Bible Church with Rev. Rebecca Bunton officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 P.M., at Kechi Cemetery, Kechi, Kansas. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 P.M., Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons with family present from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Memorials may be given to Faith Bible Church in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
