K. John Knight

My condolences go out to the family.

It is with great sadness that I read of John's passing. When visiting my mother-in-law at Country Living, I met John, and we became friends. We would share ice cream from the Dairy Queen and have a great time talking about a variety of things. He was a kind man and a gentle spirit. Rest now ... as you dwell in the house of our Lord forever.

So very many memories of John from the First christian Church in Lyons, taught him in Sunday School for several years and of years helping his dear mother in the summer on the farm. Another soul gone too soon. My sympathies to all who knew John. He will truly be missed.

We met the summer before my 7th grade year, your 8th grade year during the 4H Fair. You were quickly easy to like funny & sweet. You were so saddened by your mother's illness. As I am saddened that your life was over taken by this same illness and was shortened so by it. Thankful you are at peace now.
