Gordon was a great person: genuine, collegial, professional and good sense of humor. I was unaware of his passing until today, January 3/2019. My condolences to

My deepest condolences to Gordon's family, and regrets that I could not attend his service. Gordon was first cousin to my mother, Ruby (Leonard) Mellies Hodgson, and although that is how I first knew him, I enjoyed reconnecting with Gordon on Facebook, and learning of his love of animals. He will be surely missed.

I'm so grateful for the privilege and opportunity of getting to know Gordon over the last three seasons at (LSM), Naples, Florida. Gordon was a man of integrity, sincere and genuine. He had a gift of making you feel free and easy. I found him always willing to interact and engage in conversation and I enjoyed listening to his various stories. Gordon loved our dogs. The impact that he had on my life is to "Live each day in the moment" and "to not put things off for tomorrow.
