Angela Louise Hickling

Angela Louise Hickling, 52, of Lyons, Kansas, passed away September 4, 2019 at Hospital District #1 of Rice County, Lyons. She was born January 6, 1967 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Howard Leon and Sharon Sharp Hickling. Angela has resided in Lyons since 2014, formerly of Jacksonville, Florida. She was a medication aide for many years. Angela was a member of First Baptist Church, Lyons. She is survived by her mother, Sharon Hudson of Lyons; step-father, David St. John of Miami, OK; long-time boyfriend, William Carter of Lyons; siblings, Rebecca Hickling of Lyons, Carolyn St. John of Miami, OK, Christopher St. John of Lyons, and Stephen St. John of Lyons; best friend, Summar Van Buren of Little River, KS; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her father; maternal grandmother, Bettie Matson Tripp; and all of her other grandparents. Funeral service will be at 3:00 P.M., Friday, September 13, 2019 at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons with Pastor Kendal Connor officiating.  Visitation will be from 2:00 until service time at the funeral home with family present. Memorials may be given to Angela Hickling Memorial Fund in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
